READY FOR LIFE – Celebrating Patron Saints day at Fairway

Everyone in the school celebrated the Patron Saint of Wales and learnt about his actions in life as well as his importance to bringing Christianity to Wales in the 6th Century.

At Fairway Primary, after their Curriculum Promise Assembly learning about and celebrating St David’s Day, the school carried on the tradition of encouraging pupils to wear the uniform of their Scouting or Girl Guide troops to school Patron Saints days. There was a fantastic response, with members of the different organisations all proudly showing off their uniforms, badges and affiliations.

Everyone in the school celebrated the Patron Saint of Wales and learnt about his actions in life as well as his importance to bringing Christianity to Wales in the 6th Century. Pupils are now looking forward to celebrating St Patrick’s Day on carrying on the tradition.
